We are an Oakland based death metal outfit looking for a second guitarist and a bassist. While we're currently in hunker down and write mode, we plan on gigging once gigs are available again. The perfect fit for this band: is able to play technically challenging material on 6 and 7 string guitars (Drop B and A Standard respectively) has pro gear and transportation has a creative drive and wants to be a part of the writing process a professional attitude and respect for everyone's time and effort is weed/alcohol friendly is available to practice around once a week Bonus - if you can provide backing vocals and or recording/production experience, we would extra love to meet with you. About us - we are currently a guitarist, drummer, and singer that have been playing together for nearly 2 years. B has been playing drums for 12 years, and J has played guitar for 15 years. A is new to singing, but we like him, he's talented, and has good stage presence. We play almost exclusively original music, and we have a wide range of influences - Arch Enemy, Trivium, Carnifex, Decapitation, Black Dahlia Murder, As I Lay Dying, Sabaton, Thy Art Is Murder, Parkway Drive, At the Gates, Revocation, etc. While we all come from different backgrounds, we do our best to write music that we all enjoy.
