SupaRadio is an internet radio station based in DC that will be celebrating its one year anniversary next month. Unfortunately the pandemic has hindered the growth of the station but I have managed to keep music playing and doing interviews and building a following thru social media. With the vaccine here and the numbers slowly dropping we anticipate that by late spring or summer more opportunities will arise to be out in the community, at local events, and able to spread the word about SupaRadio. We are a community radio station that caters to urban music mainstream and local. We want to be not just a place for good hip hop, R&B, and Go-Go but a place the community can count on for info that is important to them and be a place where the community can have a platform to promote and talk about who they are. The goal is to become an FM community radio station by the end of the year. We are looking for a street team to help set up and promote at events throughout the city. We need people that support and dedicated to the cause and want to be a part of something meaningful to the urban community in DC and something that hasn't been done before in DC, bring urban music to the city while being fully and completely dedicated to the city and giving the people a place to be hear. Right now there is no pay but opportunities to make money are available thru bringing in advertising as well as booking the station for paid events you will get a large percentage of the fees for both.
