GARDEN CENTER/GREENHOUSE ASSISTANTS

We are looking for several full-time/part-time garden center/greenhouse assistants. These are physical, seasonal positions with starting wages based on experience. JOB DUTIES: • Stocking, organizing products • Cleaning, culling and condensing of plants • Watering, loading, hauling • Answering questions and providing customer service SKILLS REQUIRED: • Strong people skills - works well within a team • Teachable, positive attitude • Good time management skills • Plant knowledge is an asset • Operate cash registers and financial transactions • Physical labor is a requirement of this job PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and elements • Able to spend hours working on your feet on hard surfaces • Able to push, pull and maneuver large rolling plant racks full of product • Able to lift, move and carry tray and large potted planters • This is a very physical job that requires a hard work ethic and good physical fitness SCHEDULE: • Must be able to provide a consistent schedule • Bulk of hours worked between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM • Availability to work weekends PLEASE APPLY IN PERSON at Liberty Park Florist and Greenhouse 8th and Perry.
