I am looking for reliable, honest, and hard-working laborers for moving labor work, as well as those with experience in carefully, and efficiently, loading moving trucks (especially for long-distance moves, where fully utilizing all the available space is VERY important). I prefer to hire non-smokers (if you do smoke, I will ask you not to smoke during, or immediately before, a moving job), college students, and military veterans, but all are welcome to apply. You must be willing to submit to a criminal background check (I pay for that). Please only apply if you are serious about working hard, and have sufficient social skills to treat my customers-and their belongings-with respect. I also insist that you be well-groomed (you know-the whole bathing, using deodorant/cologne, etc. thing), and show up to work in pants and shirts that are not ripped, torn, etc. NO SAGGING PANTS! This is a contract job that will be part-time/on-call work at first, with the opportunity to possibly go full-time, in the future, for the right person(s). The starting pay is $20.00 per hour for Laborers, and $25.00 per hour for Team Leads (Team Leads must not only be able to perform the moving labor, but must also know how to safely and efficiently load a moving truck, pad and shrink wrap furniture, use hand and power tools, etc.).
