Excavator Operator (Portland / Vancouver) We have a great opportunity for an Excavator Operator position to join our team. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, has good communication skills, is reliable, and has previous excavation experience, and must operate excavation equipment. General Responsibilities: • Must read and understand job blueprints, plans, and instructions • Prepare the job site for excavation • Safely use and operate various excavation equipment, such as excavator • Assist is preparing worksite for laying pipe, measure, mark and record openings where construction work will be performed • Must be able to do various piping work such as: sewer, water, stormwater, raindrain, and foundation drains. • Load/unload equipment from trucks and trailers • Complete work documentation as needed • Lift and carry heavy material on consistent basis, up to 60 pounds • Conduct heavy equipment inspections, and perform preventive maintenance checks to ensure equipment safe operations • Clean up job sites after completion Requirements: • Minimum 2-year excavation operator experience • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record • Ability to use hand tools and equipment • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check Compensation: • Depending on experience
