KIT Custom HomeBuilders is now hiring for a Maintenance Technician at our indoor Production Plant in Caldwell, Idaho.  This is a full-time position scheduled to work Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. plus any required evening and Saturday overtime.  Hourly wage starts from $16.00 per hour, dependent on experience.  This position qualifies for a $500 Signing Bonus after 60 days of employment. As a member of the Maintenance Department, the Maintenance Technician performs a variety of general maintenance duties which include electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and construction in the maintenance and repair of production facilities and equipment. Requirements & Skills: - Prefer previous experience as a maintenance technician. - Must be able to respond quickly to repair orders and work requests while providing courteous and effective service to internal and external customers. - Able to complete basic welding tasks in a safe and proper manner. Welding and fabricating experience preferred. - Requires the ability to lift/move heavy materials up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.  Must also be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.  Daily need for hand strength and dexterity to grasp tools and equipment. - Position requires an individual who is self-motivated and demonstrates good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Must be willing to work overtime as required, including some Saturday hours. - Regular attendance is a critical part of all positions at KIT.  Must be available to consistently work the required business hours without tardiness, interruption, or early departure.  Business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., as well as any required Saturday or later evening overtime.
