Get $40 to attend a 90-minute virtual focus group. The focus group is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, March 18, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. The purpose of the focus group is to gain insight into housing desires (location, amenities, type) and as well as challenges around purchasing a home in Missoula County. You will answer questions about these topics and be asked to provide your opinion. We are seeking opinions from a broad range of perspectives. Candidates must be comfortable speaking in a group. We would most like to speak with Missoulians who fall into a mid-range income. Those are folks who don’t qualify for subsidized housing but are also concerned with or have struggled to buy a home in the current housing market. These are typically households making $50,000 - $80,000 annually. Requirements: English speaking, have a computer (laptop/desktop) or iPad with Zoom capabilities (including web camera and mic), strong internet connection, and be ready to share your experiences with housing in Missoula. You should either wish to, or have attempted to, purchase a home in Missoula County. Please make sure you have private access to a computer for the entire focus group.
