Sweet, sweet Blood/Walker Hound - waiting at shelter

I'm a volunteer dog walker at the Wake County Animal Shelter and wanted to post about this very sweet young Hound that is currently there waiting for his new home. His name is "Walker" and he appears to be a possible mix between blood and walker hound. He is very handsome and has a sweet personality. Walker is your typical Hound and he does not love being in a kennel 24/7 by himself. He much prefers to be outside or with his people. He is an absolute doll on his walks and walks perfectly on a leash (does not pull). Walker is extremely anxious in his kennel because he is not happy being there by himself. If you visit him at the shelter, see if someone can take him outside for you so you can see how well behaved he is once outside. Also, Walker doesn't appear to be great with other dogs (at least in the building). It could be barrier frustration, but not certain. He is a good boy and needs a good home. If interested, please visit him asap. He would love to go home to a great family this week!
