3yr old Shephard/Pit? mix - needs out of shelter

I'm a volunteer dog walker at the Wake County Animal Shelter and wanted to post about a dog that needs out as soon as possible. His name is "Victor" and he is approximately 3 years old. Victor has been at the shelter since early February and he is not doing well in the kennels. He craves human attention so being alone for so many hours with limited walks is not a good scenario for him. The volunteers and staff are trying to keep him occupied with walks etc, but he needs a family of his own. We have tested Victor with other dogs (in a supervised setting with select dogs) and he has done well, except that he is fairly assertive in his play - meaning he doesn't always take a hint that other dogs don't want to play and he keeps trying. Victor needs to be kept busy and would do well with several good walks a day. He walks great on a leash and doesn't pull at all, but can be vocal when other dogs pass by. We believe with a routine and regular walks and a soft bed, he will do fine in a home. Please only consider adopting Victor if you have the right environment for him. Note on his breed, the shelter has him labeled as AM Staff, but in person he looks like possible Shephard/Lab or Shephard/Pit mix. He's definitely a mix of some sort. Victor here. I am a people dog and need to be with my human friends. When I'm outside or with people, I am well behaved (I promise!). I am just not happy being in this kennel so I make as much noise as possible to get your attention. I do like to go on long walks and I walk great, but do pull some if other dogs go by.
