This Post is advertising Multiple Openings for the following areas: Greater Orlando (various locations) Daytona/Lake Mary This job consists of the following duties: - sanitizing offices according to Covid-19 protocol - installing various clings on storefront glass per company planogram - changing light bulbs - repairing ceiling tiles - fixing broken furniture / putting together furniture - changing carpet squares - transporting/hand delivering various misc. items between offices - visiting offices to review/confirm planogram compliance - installing/repairing led light boxes and open signs in windows of storefront - hanging items on the wall, as needed - moving furniture, as needed - changing office layout to allow for temporary classroom setup - packing up office supplies including file cabinets etc. and taking them to storage when office needs to be emptied for design refresh. - various other tasks as assigned by manager Preferred applicant has their own general handyman tools such as: 1. toolbox with tools needed for the above referenced tasks - level - hammer - drill - other similar basic tools 2. Hand Truck for moving items 3. ladder(s) 4. personal truck is a plus 5. other various items are a plus. Applicant MUST have a valid driver’s license (must provide proof), legally able to work in the U.S., and a vehicle (SUV/Truck is a plus) they can use for work each day. This position requires daily travel to multiple different offices. Travel BETWEEN office locations is reimbursed business mileage. This position DOES NOT have consistent hours and is SEASONAL. Some weeks will have 30 hours of work while others may have 0-5 hours of work. Looking for someone who is happy with flexible work hours, and wants to work with a company for the long term. Some projects can be physically demanding. I am willing and able to work with someone who has another job, as long as there is consistent hours of availability for H&R Block work. Required 8 week termination period, can/will be planned in advance. You will have to apply within the H&R Block system and successfully pass a background check to gain employment.
