SUMMARY: Responsible for fueling and servicing of aircraft abs safe and efficient operation of equipment used in fueling aircraft. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Comply with the Location’s attendance/tardiness standards. • Perform fueling in safe and efficient manner. • Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions • Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment. • Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition. • Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel. • Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed. • Use fuel trucks, hydrant carts and stationary carts to fuel aircraft. • Responsible for deicing aircraft as required. • Is able to meet the Station’s attendance standards. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Knowledge of defuel procedures, fueling procedures for various air crafts, deicing procedures, and fueling procedure for various ground equipment. Must successfully complete Company's PST program EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract, along with multiply, and divide. Ability to perform these with regard to weight, measurement and volume. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUIALIFICATIONS: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English. • Ability to perform basic math calculations. • Must pass pre-employment medical. • Must pass pre-employment drug test. • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays Work is done indoors and outdoors. • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions with exposure to loud noises.
