Carefree Lawn Sprinklers is looking for fertilizer / lawn care technicians to service our growing client list of residential and commercial properties. We are looking for honest, reliable, hard working individuals that are ready and willing to work outdoors and late hours when necessary. Job duties include, but are not limited to: - Apply fertilizer to customers yards - Core aeration and overseeding of properties - Identify various lawn diseases and insects - Lift a minimum of 50 lbs. - Working with hand tools (channel locks, basic tools) - Work well as a team to help other technicians when they are running behind - Cross sell customer on additional Carefree services (Additional money making opportunity for you as a technician) Job Requirements: - Ability to work Monday - Saturday 7am - 6pm (hours vary during these days and times) - Valid drivers license - Work outdoors in varying weather conditions - Strong work ethic - Good work history - Reliable transportation to and from shop - Basic knowledge of lawn care - Licensed by the Illinois Department of Agriculture or ability to obtain within 30 days (paid for by Carefree) Benefits of working at Carefree: -Carefree has been in business over 30 years and services over 6,000 residential and commercial homes.
