JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Masking Tech I contribute in the masking, demasking, and fixturing during the coating process. Always performs job functions in a safe and timely manner consistent with Advanced Coatings established procedures and protocols. Masking Tech I must identify and report non Pay Rate: $14.50 (15.00 when hired) after per hour 1st shift employees $14.50 (15.50when hired) per hour 2nd shift employees Shifts: 1st shift 5:00 am – 1:30 pm 2nd shift 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plans, organizes, and directs resources to meet or exceed customer expectations and established production goals. • Performs workflow analysis and coordinates with production supervisor to develop methods that reduce time. • Adherence to QMS/ITAR/NIST/OSHA and company/industry programs/standards. • Read and comprehend the process traveler before starting a job. • Log in and out of jobs using E2. • Document and report any non-conformances throughout the production process. • Basic knowledge of the conformal coating process. • Basic knowledge of the Quality management system (QMS). • Masking parts to the specifications of the customer print. • Fixturing of simple parts (e.g. keypads) • Defixturing coated parts • Demasking parts • Packing parts • Cleaning and maintaining production areas. • Responsible for discrepancies during assigned processes. • Initialing the process traveler confirms that you have completed the process, recorded the required information and take responsibility for that outcome. • Provide detailed records in the form of notes, comments and remarks as required. • Maintaining an awareness of what is in the production queue. • Follow all rules and regulations within the Employee Handbook. • Performs other related duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: • High School Diploma or Equivalent • Electronic assembly experience preferred • Commitment to high workmanship standards • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels • On the Job Training will be provided PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Frequently works in an office or light industrial/laboratory environment where conditions are well-illuminated, HVAC temperature and security are controlled. • Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 45 pounds • Occasionally works near equipment with moving mechanical parts, very high or low temperatures and where compressed plant air or inert gases may be present • Occasionally might work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals Apply in person or call us for more information: ❗Need 2 forms of ID 📍14189 E.
