Come spring I am going to be leading outdoor lessons on performing Yang style Taiji (taichi)
I will offer both a short form and long form (traditional 108 form) that I will teach on different days.
This practice has been proven to be effective for maintaining physical and mental health. Taichi has been taught and practiced for over 800 years and has evolved into many different disciplines. Yang style is the most widely learned and iconic of all the styles. It focuses on mindfulness while performing sets of continuously fluid movements.
If you struggle with meditation because your mind wanders Taichi can help! Do you find yourself in stressful situations not being able to calm down? Taichi can help there as well!
At this time I am just looking to see what kind of interest there is in this area. To anyone who responds I will be happy to provide more information about where/when these practices will begin.
