Description
This is a flexible job and one that rewards hard working, It's very easy to make $164 a day by taking it slow and steady or more with just slightly more effort. After about 2 weeks you will pretty easily be able to do 4 to 5 jobs a day without to much hard work put into it.
You will bury from Cable hook up box (terminal) to the box on side of house. You will not hook up anything, just bury it to the box (NID is what it's called) on the side of the house. Most jobs are nice and straightforward but about 20% of the jobs you will have to run a new line to bury, which I do supply the cable. Most things are trenched in with Whompers/Trenching spades I will provide one.
It's not all easy jobs but I'd say only about 20% of them are really bad, most can be done within 1.5hrs to 2hrs starting off then within 3 days you'll be knocking them out in 1hr. It's a really good opportunity and a permanent work place as we have the AT&T contract in Johnson County for drops.
You will also have to bury the cable under the terminal box when running a new line but after doing it about 3 times it only takes 2 to 3 minutes longer, and sometimes it's easier to run a new line then to try and bury the line the AT&T tech placed.
The pay is
For a job between 30-150ft: $41
For a job between 150-250ft: $47
For anything trenched over 250ft: 47$ plus $0.59 per foot over 250ft
You can ask for boring opportunities once you have trenched a week to 2 weeks for even better oppurtunities.
