Italian food distributor is looking for a hard-working Warehouse Packer to pack food items from warehouse to fulfill customer orders. Boxes will need to be built and products must be checked for damage and expiration date before packing them for shipment. All products are very light in weight. Applicants must have basic reading skills and be willing to submit to a pre-employment background and drug test. Employment is contingent on passing both. Job Duties:  Build packaging boxes  Inspect items are not damaged or expired  Clean shipping containers and shipping supplies  Remove any defective or expired items  Pack items into shipping containers  Measure, weigh, and count products and materials  Seal and label shipping containers  Label items  Sort packages according to courier service and have them ready for pick up  Maintain a clean and safe work environment Skills and Qualifications:  High school diploma or GED  Able to lift up to 30 pounds  Able to stand 8 hours daily  Detail-oriented  Excellent organizational skills  Prior experience working in a warehouse a plus Must be 18 years or older to apply.
