We are a small company celebrating our 30th season, specializing in high end garden installation and maintenance. Looking for a few experienced gardeners to join our already fabulous crew. We specialize in the installation and maintenance of annual and perennial gardens and the proper care of shrubs and small trees. We also do new shrub and tree plantings as well as transplanting of existing plant material. Our mission at Gardens by Rebecca is to provide high-quality garden installation and landscape maintenance that many of our fellow local companies do not provide. We have some full time openings on the crew for our upcoming season and hope to find just the right people to fill those openings. Our crew is smart and energetic. We are hard working but have a great work atmosphere. People who join the GBR crew tend to stick around because they respect each other, enjoy the work and the properties we maintain, and because they are shown respect and appreciation every day. We are looking for someone who is motivated, interested and passionate about gardening. You should be experienced at gardening. That means, plant knowledge, planting experience with annuals, perennials and roses as well as shrubs and small trees. Maintenance experience should include deadheading perennials, roses, pruning, and weeding. In addition to the gardening parts of our work, we do general landscape maintenance which includes, pruning, mulching, planting and transplanting small trees and shrubs You need to be strong and healthy and able to lift 75 lbs as well as perform all the physically demanding work that goes along with this type of job.
