IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR IRRIGATION TECH / SPRINKLER TECH ($12-20 per hour) - multiple openings Pay based on experience. We are looking for someone who is reliable, experienced, hard-working and professional. Customer Service Skills a must! $400 signing bonus at the end of 90 days Experienced Technician should be able to - use multimeter - use wire tracker/locator - be able to diagnose/troubleshoot and repair all types of residential irrigation - install new irrigation. Two years of experience preferred. Experience in pumps/wells beneficial. If you have other landscape or maintenance knowledge that is very helpful as well. REQUIREMENTS: At least 1 year experience field work in irrigation to apply for position Experience in sales, service/maintenance/repair, installation, troubleshooting DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Performs visual inspections & wet checks · Assist in the troubleshooting & maintenance of basic to moderately complex irrigation systems · Uses electrical meters and wire trackers to identify problems · Able to interpret diagrams & blueprints to lay out and locate irrigation valves, timers, and wiring · Test completed irrigation systems for proper functioning of valves and timers · Install piping, valves, timers and more · Program timers · Locates, excavates and repairs or replaces damaged or malfunctioning equipment · Repair/replace faulty parts on control valves · Identifies site conditions that impact scheduling Other responsibilities would be keeping tools and van neatly organized & clean. Valid drivers licence preferred so you are able to drive company vehicles We provide basic hand tools, trucks, trailers, tractors, and larger tools. The irrigation team works Monday-Friday with the possibility of work on weekends for emergency calls.
