Pop-A-Lock Hampton Roads has openings for part time (weekends 6a-6p or 6p to midnight) roadside tech/locksmith tech position. Job duties include, but not limited to, car door and home/business unlocking, Roadside assistance calls to include car door opening, jump starts, tire changing, and gas delivery. This is a commission based/on call position, we complete well over 67,000 service calls a year, as Hampton Roads Premier primary provider for a majority of motor clubs. You will be responding to dispatches given to you to numerous motor club roadside assistance events. You need to have a late model, 4/6 cylinder, fuel efficient car. You MUST have great customer service skills, as you will be servicing people in their time of need. All equipment/company phone, uniforms, will be provided. Prefer you have at least some automotive repair/mechanical skills. If you enjoy helping people, no better way than to help them when they are locked out, need a jump or a tire changed. Further progression into auto/home/residential Locksmithing is certainly possible. Owned and operated by retired USN, so vets obviously have preference. Also you will need to get Virginia Dept of Criminal Justice registered, as we are a DCJS licensed locksmith company. Please see their website for disqualifiers, as far as convictions. You also obviously need car insurance, and a valid drivers license with less than 8 points currently.
