JOB TITLE: Housemen / Set Up
DEPARTMENT: Banquets and Events
REPORTS TO: Director of Events
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Banquet and Events Housemen, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to set up and breakdown of all meeting rooms, banquet space and function rooms using banquet equipment and materials (including table and chair set up, linens, etc.) assisting with event preparation, maintaining function storage areas stay cleaned and organized and working in a team-oriented workplace.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Reviewing the banquet and assignment schedules to ensure for prompt arrival for set up process
o Set up banquet rooms with materials and equipment according to the banquet event orders, floorplans, event timelines and set up order forms, including tables, chairs, podiums, beverage stations and linens
o Breaking down function rooms at conclusion of events and storing materials back away in function storage, ensuring cleanliness and organization
o Excellent Communication Skills
o Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks
o Ability to work with management and other team members in a professional manner
PREREQUISITES:
*Former Housemen or Set Up experience – Preferred
