We are a premier high end construction company based in Downtown Newburyport. We are looking to find one person to join our team of 4 carpenters- you will start as a carpenters helper: cleaning, organizing, light carpentry learning the basics with the ability to take on more once you learn the basics. You will work hard but you will learn a lot. We will train you in carpentry-demo-framing and finish. If you are a grumpy lazy miserable person you will be let go immediately. If you are hard working eager collaborative and want to learn you will fit in perfectly. A little about our company- We started 4 years ago and have built a reputation as one of the very few premier builders in Newburyport. We have a core focus on teamwork, quality, communication and a collaborative execution of work. We have a backlog of work into early-mid 2022 meaning your job is safe for a very long time. We own our own projects which means we are not running from job to job every 3 weeks. Our typical project is about 7-10 months long so this means that things are very stable and predictable for long periods of time. Our goal is to get you up to $20/hr within 6-9 months depending on skill level and work ethic. We offer 1 week Vacation, 3 sick days and many of the federal holidays paid after 60 days. We offer short term disability and Dental/vision insurance. For the moment we are not offering health however we are looking into to offering this in the near future.
