Me and my fiance have been keeping exotic animals for several years now. We have established a small following in Boone after attending the farmers market with our reptiles and allowing people to handle and learn about the snakes in a fun and safe atmosphere. We aimed our program at children but have found that adults enjoy the experience just as much! Currently we have assisted in a local photoshoot for a line of jewelry made and sold in Boone NC and have helped several people get everything they need to successfully keep their first reptile. We offer a birthday party package that includes 2 large snakes (both over 9 feet long), 4 small snakes, 2 tortoises, 1 frog, and one chameleon (this one is display only and is not handled). It is $50/hour and can be held at any location within 30 minutes of Boone. If it is above 70 degrees we can hold it outside but if it is below 70 degrees it must be held inside in a large open space.
