What President Trump said at this rally is, and I quote, “ I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard today.” President Trump DID NOT incite an insurrection. The definition of insurrection is: a rising or rebellion of citizens against their government, usually manifested by acts of violence. While an insurrection did take place, President Trump did not incite it or condone it. Fact of the matter is, the Capitol police knew there was the potential for violence days in advance, and made requests for support from the National Guard several times, and each of these requests were denied. This request for support landed squarely on the desk of Nancy Pelosi, so if anyone is responsible for what took place at our capitol on January 6, 2021, it is she and her cronies! The facts of January 6th are still being investigated, but news is trickling out that many of these insurgents were NOT Trump supporters at all, but far left Democratic supporters. Surprised?
