Free Cat to Good Home

Description

A very friendly 1-2 year old tom cat recently began hanging around our yard about a month ago but, unfortunately, we’re already too many pets in as it is. He is extremely sweet and doesn’t mind being picked up or handled and looks to be in great health. His eyes are clear, so is his nose, and his coat is thick and shiny — nothing indicating any health issues. I wish we had the room, otherwise I would keep him myself. He eats at my house every day now and hangs out in the yard, but he's such a sweet cat and really deserves a proper home. He gets along great with my cats and is very respectful of their space, so I doubt he would be a problem in a home with pets already. I will keep this posting up to date, please respond with “Socks” in the subject line to weed out spam. ***It's been brought to my attention by a couple of very considerate people that I should have conditions as to avoid disgusting subhuman scum getting the cat for nefarious reasons, so I will be attempting to partner with a cat rescue, but if I adopt Socks out directly, I will require a rehoming fee, vet reference and proof of residence (homeowner). The fee will cover the cost for Socks to be neutered and get the required accompanying rabies shot (70.00) at the Spay/Neuter Clinic -- which I will take Socks to get myself. The fee will be refundable upon the completion of 90 days with monthly live updates on Socks' condition and well-being; I didn't intend to adopt him for profit, but I do want to make sure whoever gets him is intent on his safety and well being in a loving, permanent home. Thank you again to the kind souls who pointed this out to me.
