Join us on a naturalist led walk down the Indigo Trail identifying and discussing the ecosystem's unique plant and animal species. *All tours are led outside, but since 6 feet can not be maintained while the tour is conducted, masks are required by all participants. By signing up for this tour, you are adhering to wearing a mask while on the tour. *Tours will not be conducted if guidelines are not met by all participants and the guide has the right to terminate the tour if deemed unsafe. Come and join a naturalist for an educational stroll along the Refuge’s Indigo Trail. Together you will explore the trails ecosystem and learn about the plant and wildlife seen along the way. Meet at the flagpole by 1:50pm to check-in and confirm your attendance. If you do not arrive by 1:50, your spot may be given to someone else. This tour is limited to 10 individuals. Duration of walk is 1 1/2 hours and covers about 2 miles of boardwalk and hard packed shell trails. Don't forget your sunscreen, water bottle, or hat! Tour is free, but does not gain you re-enter after the tour is over. Limited 2 tickets per visitor. Call 239.472.1100 for more information.
