Production Assistant/Detailer

OHS Body Shop had an opening for a Production Assistant at our South Kalispell location. Primary responsibilities would be to per-wash and document the cars before a repair is started. Attend the morning production meeting and note the cars that will need to be detailed and made ready for quality control and delivery. The production Assistant also makes deliveries and picks up and drops of cars and trucks for sublet repairs and customer requests. Last but not least this position is also in charge of keeping the shop inside and out clean. This means swiping floors, emptying trash cans, picking up left over parts and metal and taking them to the recycling trailing, emptying the detail drain, deicing the parking lot and snow shoveling during the winter. And yes this position is a spot where we recruit new techs from. If you have the desire and you prove to be worthy in this position then we will pay for you to work alongside as a helper to a seasoned technician who over time can teach you the trade. Auto body techs make between $70-110K per year. If you are highly motived you can become a tech in 1-3 years.
