Description

Developing a Deeper Connection to Your Heart through Cacao and Ancient Tibetian Meditation Practice Women’s Circles, an age-old tradition, offer a safe, sacred space for women to come together, connect authentically, and give and receive support and healing. Fears and self-discovery issues affect the vast majority of women but are rarely spoken about. Struggling in secret and in silence only deepens the wound of shame, comparison, and competition among us, and women’s circles can act as a potent medicine for that wound. The Circle is a safe, sacred space to connect authentically with other women and walk together towards Freedom with the help of the ancient Medicine of Cacao. On March 8th, we will be learning about Heart Chakra, the chakra that connects the realm of the lower and the upper energy centers. The fourth chakra, called Anahata, is located at the heart. “Anahata” means unstruck sound. 4th Chakra’s Natural Element: Air The Color Is Green Affirmations: ~I am open to give and receive love. ~I love and accept myself. ~I forgive myself and others. ~I am fully open to love. ~My heart is full of love. Tong means "giving or sending", and len means "receiving or taking". Tonglen practice, also known as “taking and sending,” reverses our usual logic of avoiding suffering and seeking pleasure. In Tonglen practice, we visualize taking in the pain of others with every in-breath and sending out whatever will benefit them on the out-breath. In the process, we become liberated from age-old patterns of selfishness. We begin to feel love for both ourselves and others; we begin to take care of ourselves and others. Tonglen awakens our compassion and introduces us to a far bigger view of reality. It introduces us to the unlimited spaciousness of shunyata (emptiness). By doing the practice, we begin to connect with the open dimension of our being. "The Way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart." - Buddha We are so excited to continue on the Path of Self-Healing with YOU!
