We are now hiring for Greenskeeper I and Greenskeeper II Under supervision, duties will include a wide range of daily golf course maintenance duties. OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR GREENSKEEPER I, INCLUDE: Operates some equipment used in course maintenance. Mowers: fairway, tee. Small machinery: string trimmer, fly mow, backpack blower. Involved in course detail tasks: weed and debris clean-up, poa eradication, etc. Chemical applications: hose handler. Maintains equipment fluid levels: gasoline or diesel, oil, etc. (throughout the day). OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR GREENSKEEPER II, INCLUDE: Operates most equipment used in course maintenance. Riding mowers: fairway, approach, rough (small, intermediate, large). Walking mowers: green, tee, collar. Restricted use equipment: top dressers (walking, pull behind), tractors, loaders. Small machinery: edger, string trimmer, fly mow, chainsaw, backpack blower. Capable and proper use of hand tools/equipment. Participates in irrigation practices: hand watering, syringing. Planting and maintenance of vegetative material. Basic physical abilities to perform duties as required.
