I am looking to re-home my 2-year old male black domestic shorthair, Subuktageen. I adopted him in Michigan around 1.5 years ago; he was this scaredy little cat with all the affection in the world. He helped me get through most of my PhD and some very difficult times. I couldn't dream to part from him and he was also very attached to me, so when I moved to Washington, I brought him along. He was scared and unsettled for days; I don't think that move was fair to him. It's been several months now and he settled-in. However, now that I am moving again - this time to another country, I don't wish to put him through it again. He's lived with just me since he was adopted and is used to quietness. He was friends with other cats in my building in Michigan. He loves to be held up first thing in the morning and greets me with kisses and licks. Generally, he sleeps on the pillow by my head. He loves to look out of windows at birds and squirrels and to sit in the sun till his fur rusts. It's better for him to have peace and quiet, where he is. He deserves a good, loving home. I would like to meet and visit your house (no entry) to make sure you're not crazy. Thank you!
