In this beginner welding course we will teach the basics of material prep, machine setup, proper welding techniques, a small amount about what's happening to the steel as we are welding and finally how to lay a decent bead! **This is a 2-part class held on consecutive Saturdays; May 22 from 8-10 am & Saturday May 29 from 8-10 am. Total of 4 hours of instruction. Meet in the Metal Shop About the instructor: Chase Allgood learned to weld in the FFA during high school and has been welding professionally ever since, everything from acid bath tanks to chairs and tables at restaurant chains.
