Description

3 piece Port Orange-based original Instrumental Progressive Rock/Metal band in search of keyboardist. We've been playing together for a while and have over a dozen songs written, but are entertaining the possibility of adding a 4th member in the form of keyboards to expand our horizons moving forward. We're all heavily influenced by bands like Liquid Tension Experiment, Dream Theater and Rush, and are looking for someone who shares similar influences and writing style. Admittedly, we're not quite at the same skill level as the world renowned musicians who makeup the aforementioned bands, but we ARE all capable players, and you should be too. :) The main goal of this band is to write music that we enjoy, enjoy playing it together and eventually record something we can all be proud of. We have no illusions of "making it", nor are we looking to turn this into an income, so if fame and fortune are your prime motivator, then we're not the band for you, lol :) That being said, we're easy going folks who aren't easily offended. We normally get together on Sundays for around 2 hours from 4ish to 6ish. We have a climate controlled practice space, but masks are mandatory (this is non-negotiable). If you aren't already familiar with the aforementioned bands, please listen to the following songs before emailing; Dream Theater - The Dance of Eternity Liquid Tension Experiment - The Passage Of Time Rush - YYZ Bear in mind, we're not expecting to you to have that level of technical prowess (as we are also not quite at THAT level), but again, we ARE looking to write music that is influenced by those bands. For reference, here is a rough copy of one of our already written heavier songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YaW4Yng71k If you think you may be a good fit, shoot me an email, and if you can, please include some samples of your playing :)
