Paradise Irrigation District is accepting applications for full-time Utility Worker I positions to perform semiskilled and unskilled work in the installation and repair of water main and service lines and meters. The successful candidates will also perform a variety of routine maintenance and repair work. QUALIFICATIONS: This challenging position requires any combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities for acceptable job performance. Proven communication and team-building skills are required, as well as the ability to quickly gain the trust and confidence of the Field team. A high school diploma or the equivalency thereof and possession of a valid Class C California driver’s license are required. It will be necessary to obtain a valid Class A California driver’s license within six months of employment. Experience in the general construction field is desirable.
