Help Louisiana High Schools offer Computer Science! Become a Microsoft TEALS Volunteer for the 2021-22 school year. Next fall TEALS will begin supporting its first ever cohort of high schools in Louisiana. Bringing over a decade of experience from around the country, Technology Education and Literacy in Schools (TEALS) is a Microsoft Philanthropies program that connects classrooms with tech-industry volunteers, through remote and in classroom learning. You should consider becoming a TEALS volunteer if you enjoy… • Inspiring and mentoring high schoolers • Supporting educators • Making computer science accessible to everyone • Sharing the joy of computing As a TEALS volunteer you will help ensure that a Louisiana high school can offer CS for their students next year. Even better, your time as a volunteer will help to train a classroom teacher so that there will be a sustainable CS program at that high school for years to come.
