Job Description A dealership lot attendant is generally responsible for handling cleanliness of lot, running vehicles/errands, various janitorial tasks, and some minor detailing. They are expected to ensure vehicles are organized, easy to access, and keep the lot free of debris and trash. Valid driver’s license and car insurance required. Job Duties Maintains quality and cleanliness of all vehicles; be familiar with vehicle washing procedures Notify Lot Manager of any problems that are found Is able to maneuver vehicles carefully in crowded spaces, moving and parking vehicles for maximum lot efficiency Responsible for keeping storage areas cleaned and organized Monitors each vehicle’s gas and battery life; check all vehicles for warning lights or abnormalities Able to engage with customers as needed; must be friendly and informative and able to answer customer questions in a professional, conversational manner Other duties include, but are not limited to; wash and dust cars; remove fingerprints and smudges on exterior and interior as needed; straighten vehicles; sweep and/or mop; take out trash; clean bathrooms; stock water; drive to service or other vendor locations, picking up supplies and any other tasks determined by Lot Manager Remove all trash from center console, glove box, storage spaces, and trunk Check trunk and spare tire area for trash, and make note if you find floor mats, extra keys, manual, etc Run various errands: grab lunch for other employees, run titles and checks, transport vehicles Keep track of and deliver all receipts to office manager and/or assistant for record keeping Placing vehicle prices inside vehicles Ensure cigarette butt receptacles are emptied as well as pickup trash and debris off of exterior lot Keeping storage room clean and the walkway clear at all times Applicant Qualifications: Stick Shift experience required Clean and valid Driver's License required Auto Insurance required English required Holidays and Weekends may be required Background check, in accordance with local law/regulations PLEASE DO NOT JUST SHOW UP, CONTACT US FIRST 480-454-3844
