Maintenance Technician needed ASAP

We are a local management company currently looking to hire for a full time Maintenance Technician to work handling residential repairs and maintenance. The Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the repairs. The Tech performs preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs, electrical work, building equipment and plumbing repairs. Job includes: Basic handyman experience •Electrical knowledge is a huge plus. •Plumbing capability is a MUST. Repairing sink faucets, shower heads and garbage disposals. •Previous knowledge of using hand tools and power tools. •General maintenance duties, preventive maintenance, service calls, and emergency maintenance as needed and assigned. •Completes house/apartment turnovers, including minor repairs, touchup painting, and restoring unit to original condition or better. • We need an all-around handyman. Painting and refurbishing projects, simple carpentry and drywall, minor building and equipment repairs. •Exhibits professional appearance and conduct while providing excellent customer service to residents and owners by doing the following: •Thoroughly clean up after yourself when finished with the job; like you were never there. •Maintain personal cleanliness. •Other duties as assigned Requirements: •High school graduate; Technical schooling and/or on the job training preferred. •Minimum one year previous work experience with electrical, plumbing, and painting in a complex commercial, industrial, or residential setting. •Basic experience in logical troubleshooting and previous knowledge of using hand tools and power tools. •Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and performs simple arithmetic. • Valid State driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record and also helpful to own a truck and small tools. • High level of motivation and pride in your work. • Capable of working independently as well in a team environment. • Must be able to answer emergency on call rotation, including nights and weekends. • Good written and communication skills needed.
