Learn to make classic Italian spring dishes and taste test along the way!
Join us as we learn new techniques and recipes and taste our way through spring in Italy!
First, instructor Julie Parisi will guide the class through the process of making fresh ricotta cheese. The class will use the ricotta as the base for a delicious bruschetta appetizer with asparagus, spring peas, and fresh herbs. Next, attendees will help create ricotta gnocchi by hand to create the dish: Ricotta gnocchi with spring vegetables in a brown butter sauce. Last, we will make a silky smooth lemon panna cotta to refresh the palate.
This class features all vegetarian recipes. This is a demonstration class, but does have hands-on elements; attendees are encouraged to bring an apron.
