This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who knows their way around the general maintenance requirements of an apartment community and is willing to take on the custodial duties with pride. You provide the knowledge and hard work - we'll provide the tools and supplies to get the job done! Located in Seattle, our property is a 50-unit apartment building for senior citizens. Our residents are important to us. Our mission is to provide clean, safe, comfortable, and affordable housing, and to do so in an environment that is sensitive and responsive. SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for performing both janitorial and property upkeep duties along with regular and preventative maintenance tasks in a Silvercrest housing facility. Keep common areas clean and functional. Perform Landscaping. Respond to building or resident apartment issues including lock outs, apartment turnovers, minor plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs and daily ground inspections. Understand and adhere to safety practices. Work directly with vendors. SCHEDULE: * Regular, full-time. * Monday through Friday regular schedule with paid after-hour, weekly on-call shifts (shared with on-site Manager)
