Events

virtual, Columbus OH

27 March, 2021

Description

Dan Weber used to be a national park ranger, but he quit that job after he started writing insightful folk songs inspired by the beautiful Western wilderness that he helped protect, songs that led to standing ovations at music festivals and won awards at prestigious song-writing competitions. Saturday March 27, folk music fans will get a chance to experience one of Dan’s upbeat and engaging performances when he does a virtual online concert, sponsored by the Columbus Folk Music Society. The event is set for 7 pm Eastern Time on the CFMS Facebook page: Dan’s tribute song to Woody Guthrie rose to #2 on the national folk music charts, and Dan has toured extensively across the country. During the show, $15 donations will be welcomed, $10 for CFMS members.
