Has Google be corrupted by China?

Bill here. Can any of you remember a few years back... Google was doing some negotiations with China to be able to be used in China? Whatever those negotiations were, Google was CHANGED. It would seem that whatever rules or guidelines they adopted, have also been adopted for use in this country. We appear to be prevented from doing searches for various things. We may be given information about preferred products to the exclusion of others. I recently did a search for a brand of imported spectrometers. These were manufactured in the some states of the Former Soviet union. They were used in EVERY EPA field office in the USA. NONE could be found. A search of the manufacturer got NO RESULTS. What gives? Did CHINA secretly BUY UP google? thanks, Bill.
