Full Job Description: Journeymen/ Foreman Electricians (Ceres and Surrounding Area) Certified Journeymen/ Foreman electricians needed for full-time, long term employment. Work is within Ceres and surrounding areas. We have multiple projects going on year round which means you might be required to work at any of our jobsites on any given day. We are seeking full-time, long-term electricians for prevailing wage work in the Brentwood and Surrounding Areas. WE ARE LOOKING FOR APPLICANTS WHO ARE: 1) Self-motivated, willing to arrive on time and ready to perform work, and has the ability to stay on task and track with construction schedules. 2) Able and willing to assist in the training guidance and oversight of apprentice's as their help is required and needed. 3) Comprehend company policies and procedures and is willing to follow, as well as, enforce all employees on site to follow safe work practices. Skills and Qualifications: Skills must include being versed in all aspects of industrial journeymen tasks which include; - Ability to work long days on projects to meet deadlines. - Perform or direct all maintenance, wiring and installation of motors, switches, switch panels, fuse boxes, lighting testing and power circuits. - Fabricate and install mounting fixtures and brackets on electrical work as assigned. - Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs motor control systems. - Runs conduit, pulls wire, replace switches, installs electrical panels, troubleshoot (locate electrical problems) as well as perform a variety of other tasks. - Skilled in programming, troubleshooting, installing, and repairing of controls and power systems that use VFD's (variable frequency drives). - Able to work independently from drawings without much guidance. - Additional skills in operating aerial lifts, boomlifts, skid steers, forklifts, or the like is desired, but not required. ***NO ET CARD HOLDERS NEED APPLY.
