Description
Jules (F) and Jerry (M): Half-starved strays that needed food and warmth over the winter. After a few months, I now hope to find a good permanent home for both of them. As it is, my schedule doesn't allow enough free time and my living arrangement doesn't allow them to be indoors. In the pictures, Jules is the smaller, slimmer cat, pictured in the first 4 photos.
Jules is very friendly and playful, but stays close to the back porch. She has no fear of people, even new people, but she does tend to nip and scratch (not always, but often enough to look out for). I've only let her inside a handful of times, but I imagine she could shred some upholstery. That said, I get the sense that she would prefer to be indoors some (or much) of the time.
Jerry's shy yet affectionate, and a bit of a klutz. He likes to roam the yard, lounge in the sun, and play with Jules. He tries to climb trees but always falls out. He's very quiet. He never whines or meows. He's not afraid of people, nor is he aggressive. He's very careful not to scratch anyone.
Both got a rabies vaccine in January and have received regular flea and tick treatments. Both have been spayed/neutered.
