Hello Graduates, the Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center would like to invite you to this year's Lavender Graduation. Hello Graduates, The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center invites you to particpate in the 2021 Lavender Graduation Honorary Ceremony. A Lavender Graduation is a ceremonial event honoring and acknowledging the academic success and achievements of self-identified LGBTQ+ students and allies. This event is celebrated around the United States, at different Universities. The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center has been celebrating the Lavender Graduation since 2018. The ceremony will take place April 24th, 2021 from 4pm-7pm at 1073 Ross Ave. El Centro, CA in the parking lot. We encourage you to wear your cap and gown. You will be presented with a certificate and a lavender sash. We will have special guest speakers, free food, and music. This memorable moment is at no cost to you or your invited guests. To participate you must RSVP beforehand by 03/05/2021. Each invitee will be allowed to invite +2 family members or friends. We will be respecting social distance and CDC recommendations.
