I’m a vocalist and acoustic guitarist and I’ve done 150 live 70s soft rock solo gigs locally since 2016. I’m interested in stepping in front of an existing and gigging 70s/80s soft rock band. Perhaps you have a good lead vocalist and just want to balance/strengthen your setlist with an additional lead vocalist/acoustic guitarist. I’m up for doing 10 to 20 songs during a show. I’ve got a tight mix of soft rock songs from the Eagles, Seger, Petty, Clapton, Stones, Bruce, Neil, etc. that might fit with your setlist.
I’m interested in doing this for the joy of “the full band sound” and I’ll work cheap. Not looking to join a band as much as help make their shows balanced and stronger (it’s tough for one lead vocalist to carry the whole load!). Kind of like a designated hitter on a baseball team - a focused role. And adding an acoustic guitar to the electric sound plays well with audiences in my experience.
