Lost- family heirlooms of W.C. Mize

I am searching for a long lost chest of family heirlooms. It was owned by a dear friend of mine and contained items from his late father who died when he was a teenager. The items would bear the name W.C. Mize. Items may include: military medals of honor, Purple Heart, old family hunting items, flags, apparel, photos, and other items. I lost this in Arcata many years ago from a break in to my self-storage unit. Perhaps these items are still floating around. The chest had no monetary value, and it has been so very long since this happened, so I assume the chest has changed hands or is totally lost. My dear friend needs these items now more than ever. Even if the Purple Heart, photos, apparel or other heirlooms are out there labeled W. C. Mize, then please let me know.
