Position available in event set up & tear down and finance processing. Pay $250 per event plus $10-$50 per event bonus. We are excited to announce that we are expanding or event based Fundraising Team (the mattress sale) and are looking for a GREAT person to add to our already awesome group as we rebuild from all the school closings. What are a few great things about us you ask? 1. We help raise thousands of dollars every day you work for a different amazing high school program in North and South Carolina. Mostly high school marching bands but some athletics programs as well. 2. Our events are mostly on Saturdays and sometimes Sundays too! The pay is great (you're not just volunteering for a good cause). Our territory stretches from Greensboro, NC to Blythewood, SC and everywhere in between. Reliable Transportation is an absolute must. 3. Our team works very well together and we have fun at our events. Looking someone with positive energy who is VERY reliable. Things we are looking for: 1) A willingness to follow directions and learn. 2) Someone who has a positive personality. No drama please. 3) A hard worker. Duties: Unload/Load metal mattress frames, heavy mattresses and adjustable bases from and into enclosed trailer. You must be physically able to consistently lift 50-75 pounds. Set up and tear down of an entire mattress showroom on time. 3 people per set up/tear down team per event. You are not doing this alone. It takes two hours to set up and about an hour and a half to tear down. Explain and process financing applications while engaging in friendly conversation. Basic math skills, legible handwriting and good communication skills are required. No mattress, fundraising or finance industry experience required. We will train you!
