Description
From The JAX Chamber:
February 23, 2021
Malik S. Jackson joined the firm as an associate attorney this month. He will practice in the firm's litigation and sports litigation groups.
Jackson earned his bachelor's degree from Princeton University, where he played quarterback and won an Ivy League football championship in 2013. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando.
Between his undergraduate work and law school, Jackson was a Teach for America Corps member, teaching U.S. History and coaching football at Highlands Middle School on Jacksonville's northside. Born and raised in Duval County, Jackson graduated as class salutatorian of Ribault Senior High School with an International Baccalaureate diploma.
"Malik is an excellent addition to our firm, particularly for our growing sports litigation department," said firm chairman Steve Busey. "As a former educator and student-athlete, he brings unique firsthand experience to the sports practice."
