MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Manatee County will receive an additional 7,650 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine from the state to distribute next week. The doses will be given at vaccine clinics at Tom Bennett Park Wednesday through Friday, according to a news release from the county.

They will also receive a text message from 88911 and/or an email if they provided a mobile phone number or email address with their registration.
Those contacted have two hours to respond before being moved back into the standby pool, the county said.
