Hi! I need a volunteer to help me build a large model of the plane, The Spirit of St. Louis." This plane was flown by Charles Lindbergh in 1927 across the Atlantic Ocean, alone, non-stop. It took 331/2 hours from New York to Paris, France. This model will be a great teaching tool and presentation display in schools and libraries. Personally, I was never a craft builder, and now disabled and retired from teaching, even less. I can discuss what kind of building plans I can provide and take your advice on materials, and all things involved. What a great contribution you would be making in the field of education. We can document the work by video tapping the construction. I feel confident you will receive a lot of positive publicity. The internet and YouTube can provide more info about Lindbergh himself.
