NEW HAVEN, CT — An warrant has been obtained for the arrest of Qinxuan Pan on a charge of murder, New Haven Police Department Anthony Duff confirmed Saturday.
Pan, 29, is accused by police of fatally shooting 26-year-old Yale graduate student Kevin Jiang. He is still at large with a $10,000 bounty offered by the US Marshals Service for information leading to his arrest and conviction.
Jiang, of West Haven, was fatally shot Feb. 6 in the East Rock neighborhood.
Local and federal authorities have said Pan, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology graduate student, should be considered "armed and dangerous."
Authorities said he was last seen earlier this month with family members in Georgia.
