BAY SHORE, NY — One person was injured after a car was found on fire in the parking lot of the South Shore Mall in Bay Shore Saturday afternoon, according to Suffolk The blaze broke out at the mall on 1701 Westbound Sunrise Highway at 2:25 p.m. A 2006 Jeep Wrangler was completely involved and six other cars sustained damage. A 27 year-old man suffered minor injuries and was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
